Job Description
- Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions
- May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department
- Receives and stores incoming supplies
- Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-3 years of clinical experience in a related field
- May be expected to meet certain state certifications
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Must be IV certified
