Clinical Nurse III- Emergency Department

Full Time, Days 11PM - 11 AM (72 Hours per pay period)

Our Emergency Care Center is a 39 bed unit caring for a variety of patients with different levels of acuity.  It is extremely fast-paced and requires teamwork to achieve optimal patient flow.  We work closely with our physicians. THEY ARE A PART OF OUR TEAM.  There is a mutual respect for each of our individual capabilities and the level of professionalism we bring to work with us on a daily basis.

Position Summary: Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.

Minimum Experience: Minimum of three (3) years professional experience.

Continuing Education: Twenty (20) hours required annually (10 to enhance clinical expertise); or

Fifteen (15) hours required annually, plus ACLS certification; or

Ten (10) hours required annually, plus specialty certification; or

Ten (10) hours required annually, plus ACLS instructor.

Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee RN license. Yearly infection control, fire, safety and CPR in-services are required
